The file in question is a jpeg which loads fine in Windows 10 photo viewer and the EXIF data looks ok.ģ. I removed the file and the import was successful. By trial and error I managed to work out which file was causing the issue. Approximately half way through the import Elements crashed. I have approximately 18000 photos (mix of jpeg and raw). Import photos from a local file system crashes Elements. Eventually combinations of minimizing and maximizing the Organiser window 'enabled' the mouse actions to work successfully.Ģ.
After searching forums and reading similar experiences from other users various 'fixes' were suggested. Mouse actions - choose an action from a menu, drag and drop etc. My primary motivation was to use Elements Organiser as a replacement for Google Picassa. I've installed Elements 15 running on Windows 10.
